Best Las Vegas Hotels – Experience the Thrill
Las Vegas is a fantastic city for an exciting, memorable vacation. There is no question that you will want to stay in one of the best Las Vegas hotels you can afford and one that takes the smallest chunk out of your casino funds. We’re here to tell you it’s possible to stay in a great Vegas hotel and still have money left over for other things.
We’re going to concentrate on saving you as much money as we possibly can without sacrificing all the great amenities that we have come to expect from the finer Vegas hotels. By the way, did you know that 15 of the 20 largest hotels in the world are located in Las Vegas? If you’ve been there before and have seen the hotel properties on the strip you will not be surprised by that at all.
On my first trip to Las Vegas I decided to stay at the MGM Grand. It’s a classic and everyone has heard of it. The only problem was, for me at least, that it is so enormous it seemed that everything I did required a whole lot of walking. I like to get my own car for the exercise, especially when I’m living it up at meal time and beyond. But it it took forever to get to the parking garage and that got old after a while.
We have discovered that some of the best Las Vegas hotels are not on the strip. In fact, many of those you see in the movies like The Golden Nugget, the Four Queens and Fitzgerald’s are all located on Fremont Street. They are classic hotel casinos that not only have style and personality but are comfortable and affordable.
There are also several properties away from the strip and downtown such as the Green Valley Ranch for example. Many of these resorts are every bit as luxurious as their better-known cousins. Many people that go to Las Vegas seem to think that they have to stay at a hotel on the world-famous strip or on Fremont Street to have an enjoyable experience. That’s not true at all.
The themed hotels and casinos are among the best Las Vegas hotels. If you want a real treat you’ll visit them even if you don’t decide to stay there; like the Venetian with its real gondolas. When you go for a ride you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to Venice. There’s also the Hard Rock Casino with all the rock-and-roll memorabilia and ambiance you could ever want. The Paris has a replica of the Eiffel Tower and the New York, New York one of the skyline of New York. If you’re taking the kids, they’ll enjoy Treasure Island and the battling pirate ships.
There are always special deals available no matter what time of year it is. It’s just a matter of knowing where to find them. If you’re going to Vegas on the spur of the moment and you will want to check to see if there have been any last-minute cancellations you can take advantage of. Otherwise, it is always best to plan well in advance so you have time to shop and compare the room rates.
There are many ways to get a deal on the best Las Vegas hotels if you watch for them. Package deals will include such things as tickets to a show, a free meal and other such incentives. If you’re flying in, lots of times you can get a better price if you book your flight and your hotel together. One of the best ways to save in Vegas is to win at the casino and have the hotel comp your room. But that’s a secret I just might have to keep!
